To My Faithful Friends

Fri Oct 23, 2009, 11:52 AM
I want to say a general and continuing "thank you" to those of you who regularly watch and comment or :+fav:. You guys are terrific! When I get so busy that I am not commenting or responding to :+fav:s much, I will undoubtedly seem a bit quieter, even though I do check DA almost every day, and I will still respond to comments and notes. So many terrific artists :gallery:and so much good work :eyepopping:, and almost no time :frustrated:. I have some major projects that need to be done at home, and Fall is allergy season in my family, so most of my free time is gone at the moment... But I am still watching and enjoying, even if I am silent. So a zillion :hug:s to you guys, keep up the good work.

Important Wildlife Photography Tips

Please go read :iconryser915: 's news article on wildlife photography ethics. [link]

It is well worth reading, even if you are already careful about the wildlife you photograph, and he is an excellent photographer.

Summer's Over?

Mon Aug 17, 2009, 9:35 AM
Well, my daughter's Fall semester at the college has already started this week, and I know it has started for many others as well. Seems like the year has gone so fast, and with all the crazy weather this whole year, it has been hard to tell what season we're in anyway. Right now we are getting the moist coastal fog that usually is called "June gloom" (for the month in which it usually shows up), mixed with smoke in the air that is from a huge brushfire quite a bit north of us, showing how dry and hot it has been. Crazy. Anyway, I have been posting pictures of our County Fair as a tribute to the last days of Summer. I hope everyone has a happy, productive Fall, and that good things come your way for all the work you put in.

Portfolio Time

Thu Jul 16, 2009, 10:27 AM
Ok I was brave and tried out the free version of the portfolio, and went with AMS Images as my title.
I'll probably change it a lot, and I am not yet adding any personal contact information, but it does work. If there is something of mine that you think I should add or remove, please let me know. This is the [link] right here. There are 4 galleries I will appreciate any kind comments, and if you have suggestions feel free to send me a note. If other people have theirs done, I will go look when I get a chance. Thanks in advance, if you go look at my portfolio. :)
